Nikki Eadie trained at the Marilyn Harris School of Dance in Wolverhampton and completed her teacher training in 1993. Her ambition was actually to dance as a professional dancer and get teaching certificates. While training as a dance teacher, she gained teaching posts at several RAD dance schools in Birmingham and Wolverhampton. She gained great experience while teaching for a RAD examiner.
She quickly realised that teaching children dance was her true calling in life. After acquiring a registered teacher status with the RAD and ISTD, she decided to dedicate her life to teaching dance and not performing. As a child, she took part in dance festivals around the West Midlands. She appeared in four professional pantomimes at the Grand Theatre alongside stars such as Max Boyce, John Inman, Jessica Martin, Jimmy Cricket, Little and Large, Darna and Les Dennis.
She held the post of dance lecturer at the City of Wolverhampton College for 10 years within the Performing Arts Department where she taught on the 'National Diploma in Performing Arts'. During this time, she also taught at 3 other private dance schools in Wolverhampton and Birmingham.
Miss Eadie taught ballet and modern as a peripatetic teacher at Chase Academy in Cannock for 13 years. After gaining a total of 20 years' dance teaching experience, she finally decided that in March 2012 she would start her own dance school, building it up from pre-school. With the joy and enthusiasm she has for teaching dance, along with the dedication and determination to run a high standard and successful school, Miss Eadie would like to welcome you to share her love for dance.
